Gabriel Bata is a percussionist from Cameroon who has studied traditional drumming from West Africa and the Carribean. He worked as a percussionist for dance classes and dance ensembles throughout California, and also played with the jazz trio The Angels based out of Oakland. Gabriel is also a singer/song writer who finds inspiration in his daily life. His music is an interesting mix of his experiences in Africa, Europe and the US.
